Some moments remind me why I fell in love with photography.
While working at Cathedral Peak in the Drakensberg—my favourite place—I was approached by a family who asked me to capture their portrait. I didn’t have my usual photography equipment with me, so I used the Nikon Z6 III for the first time. It has since become my main video camera, thanks to its incredible RED codec, but its photographic quality genuinely surprised me too.
Of course, with a beautiful family and the magnificent Drakensberg as a backdrop, it’s almost impossible not to create something special.
