The Cheetahs have lost two Springbok loose forwards in Hendro Scholtz and Kabamba Floors and two Sevens Springboks, Robert Ebersohn and Danwel Demas, ahead of their Absa Currie Cup match against the Lions in Bloemfontein on Saturday.
Scholtz is out with a hand injury and he is replaced at the back of the scrum by Ashley Johnson. JW Jonker comes in for Demas on the wing and Philip Snyman replaces Ebersohn after Demas and Ebersohn were both ruled out with ankle injuries.
Kabamba Floors – who previously deputised when Scholtz was injured – was declared unfit for the match on Wednesday morning and his place on the bench is taken by under-21 loose forward Chris Dry.
