Super Sport United and Bloemfontein Celtic kept up their unbeaten records in the Absa Premiership when they played to a 1-1 draw at the Seisa Ramabodu Stadium on Wednesday evening. The goals were scored by Tlou Segolela and Glen Salmon for Phunya Sele Sele and Matsatsantsa respectively. Celtic started impressively and shocked the defending league champions by taking a 12th minute lead. Sandile Ndlovu worked some space down the left for the home side before turning the ball inside for Segolela — the former Orlando Pirates youngster drilled home a low shot from just inside the penalty that had the beating of goalkeeper Denis Onyango and rippled the back of the net.
However, the Pretoria-based side hit back just six minutes later to level the scores at 1-1. Glen Salmon showed his superb aerial prowess by getting on the end of Siyabonga Nkosi’s corner kick and powering home a header for his first league goal of the season.
