Respect to copyright is in many cases seriously lacking. While there is willingness from publishers and image users for design and print this sadly does not always apply to the attitude on payment for images and photography.

The biggest insult to an artist which is so often offered in return for the use of an image is we will credit the image with your name or you will benefit from the exposure. These alternatives are of no benefit to professionals and we urge users to pay for the usage of these images.

I respectfully encourage unwilling payers to go and capture the images themselves possibly with a cell phone camera or a consumer grade, over the counter digital camera.
