* Studio Photography
At the studio I offer a variety of services to suite almost everybody’s needs. I produce Portraits on Canvas in-house and are printed on the latest 44″ Epson K3 printer and take note that I guarantee all my prints for a lifetime. The canvas process is where a photograph gets to be printed on canvas and gives it the look of a painting instead of a normal photo. No glass is needed, and the photograph is protected with a special imported UV inhibitor to keep it water resistant and from fading. We also do a exclusive Royal Finish product with the same characteristics, with the exception that it has a smoother texture to it. The Royal Finish is a unique product that is only done by Johan Pretorius Photography.
I love to do Family Portraiture, and I am constantly busy trying to create awareness to the public, underlining the importance of a good family portrait.
* Framing service
In addition to all my photography, I also offer a framing service. I prefer to offer our clients a complete framed product, instead of just a photograph that normally ends up in a drawer, instead of on the wall for everybody to see and admire. I stock frames that compliment our portraits.
* Weddings
I love wedding photography, and this fills up my weekends in the summer seasons. I use only the very best and latest equipment and all my talent and expertise are utilized to the utmost with every wedding I do. With creativity as one of the most important components of the day, I still do my best to make the couple feel special and comfortable. Most grooms dread the photo shoot, but funny enough, enjoys it at the end of the day. Digital Manipulation is an additional service we offer, and is very popular with our clients. * Commercial / Arial Photography
This type of photography is very specialized and a lot of skill and experience is needed in order to produce a professional product to the client. When buildings and interiors are photographed, I use only Shift Tilt lenses that is specially designed to eliminate vertical lines from falling over.
* Sports
I have covered events like the FIFA Football World Cup, the Rugby World Cup, the ICC Cricket World Cup, and the Athletics World Championships. I am proud to say that my sports images have appeared in many of the biggest newspapers and magazines worldwide. I am equipped with the best and latest technology to capture and wire images immediately from the sports field in order to meet any publishing deadlines locally or international. * Video Productions
Producing a Corporate Video production for advertising purposes is extremely complex, and a lot of skill and time goes into the final product. After the client approves a script, all the needed image material is shot and assembled, a voice over is recorded, and hours of editing lie ahead. Only broadcasting quality 3CCD Video cameras and high definition (HD) is used. The industry standard Final Cut Pro deiditing software on an Apple Mac is used for all my video editing.
